Maranatha Kids is the Children’s Ministry of Maranatha Evangelical Free Church (MEFC). We exist to join parents in the call to evangelize and disciple children to know and love God through Jesus Christ.
With the Bible as our foundation, we strive to create a safe, purposeful, and age-appropriate atmosphere that fosters intentional relationships for children to grow and families to thrive.
This vision is primarily accomplished through these weekly programs:
To serve the littlest worshippers and Maranatha, a nursery is available during each service. We have volunteers to play with your children ages 0-2 years old, keeping in mind that 2 year olds are invited to attend Sunday School. The nursery is located in the south hallway of the main church building.
During September to May, children ages 2 years through 5th grade are invited to join our team of volunteers as they sing songs, learn about the Bible, and build relationships. Sunday School is offered during the 10:30 service in the Children's Wing of the Ministry Center.
Awana is one of the tools that MEFC uses in order to accomplish its vision for Maranatha Kids. The Scripture memory, parent involvement, adult leader commitment, and built-in fun assists us in making disciples that make disciples.
This program is offered from 6-7:30pm on Wednesdays for 4 year olds-6th grade. To find out more about the Awana program, click here.
We strive to come alongside parents in any way we can. In our Ministry Center, we have a Family Resouce Wall designed to do provide ways to foster discipleship in the home. To find out some of the items available at the Resource Wall, click here.
